CHANGE IN INVESTMENT STRATEGY

As a professional stragegic planner I often told the businesses I consulted with to avoid changing strategic direction without very good reasons. As recently as October 16th I was following a strategy of investing in underfollowed niche players with a strong competitive position. This had lead to my investing about 150,000$ in TPRO,ALYD,SPNSF,DSYS,PTUS,AND SEEC.This list was non-marginable with the exception of SEEC.When my portfolio dropped over 50,000$ in value or 13% on 10/27 I was forced by the emotional shock to question should I stay the course with this strategy.I concluded that I should change this strategy and sell all the non-marginable stocks in order to leverage any bargain hunting I might do.It is too soon to determine whether dumping these stocks in order to invest in IMRS and ACLY will prove to be a good decision as I still like all of these stocks. I currently am fully margined and have 115,000$ more invested. I am about 3000$ ahead in the value of the stocks I bought versus what the value would be if I had not sold. I only hold IMRS,ACLY, AND CHRZ now and am quite comfortable with the risk of being so heavily margined in so few stocks.
