Term limits would cure many DC ills including not being bought by lobbyists. The fact they'd be automatically gone after a couple terms would first screen the pool for only sincere public servants, and second make being bribed by deep pockets a useless endeavor. It would not mean they could never run again for the same seat - only that there'd be at least a 2-term interruption for the House and one for the Senate. It'd also help them fulfill their job description as representatives of their constituents wishes.
