Obama never made passing universal health care coverage as a moral imperative for our country..

Absolutely right and he could have used his 65+% approval ratings to do it or at least get us much closer. Instead, he went behind closed doors before all this began with Rahm and the lobbyists. This is what really makes me furious with him. Just furious.

Obama should have asked Howard Dean to be an advisor, or better yet secrtary of H and hs.

>> think Obama will have to take a few small elements of HCR that he can pass as a separate bill in the next few months (like getting rid of the pre-existing condition problem)...but the president has wasted so much time on HCR and he's just frustrated all the stakeholders involved...a strong leader would not let that happen...Obama has to lead more effectively and it's clear he needs some new advisors (wouldn't it be nice to have real progressives advising the president rather than those who always sell out to corporate interests).
