Obama shut even the 'softest' of anything 'left' out right off the bat. check out Rahm and Larry. they are not really democrats in anything by a letter by their name. they are to the right of teabaggers in ways. they are pure wall street. pure corporations. Obama has done little for the 'left'. he appointed a good woman to the Supreme Court. that is good. he has reempowered the FDA, but that is likely only because they are free now, and Larry doesn't have his fingers on it. some things are getting better... but they are not 'left wing' things. certainly not extreme. what at all do you consider extreme in any suggestions or actions? the dude can't even get it together to stop strip mining. and that is hardly a 'left wing extreme' idea.
