Yes, big time, to the point that this election exhibited out of control buyer's remorse and the big loser is the antique media. They sold the middle class a radical leftist as a post-racial healer and centrist.

MSM became in your face, left wing propaganda machine. I especially want to thank Jeff Imelt at GE. I hope NBC has a dozen Conans.

I agree, mostly because I've had that same thought after a year of Obama. :)

Next cycle, executive experience may look better than it did last cycle.

Unfortunately, the MSM shapes the news. They can ignore a rape accusation against a President or a love child by a Presidential candidate, while promoting stories about a different party's VP candidate's refusal to name what newspapers she reads. They can send 50 investigators to Alaska to research a VP candidate and none to Hawaii to research a Presidential candidate. They can make a Republican look like a troglodyte if he's against gay marriage, while never mentioning the Democrat President has the exact same position.

The MSM is a beast. While they can't necessarily kill a movement, they can kill off individual pols. If they turn on a pol with incessant negative stories, right or wrong, it's a real uphill battle. Some pols can never overcome the impression the MSM has painted. I think Palin is in that category. I guess time will tell on that.

As for Scott Brown, his viability sneaked up on the MSM. They had only a week to kill him off but, by that time, most voters had made up their minds. I believe if the election had another month to go, the MSM might have succeeded in getting their candidate elected.
