that is a good point. it's been more than a many generations since the name was given.

Mac an Fhailghligh - that is so poetic. I like the other, also. gaelic really is a beautiful tongue.

I read also some place that some translated it as 'son of a poet' and somehow that would make sense in picking the more 'poetic' sounding of the terms... even if it choosing the poor man over the Hound. :)
