With a person like Sarah Palin one would not want to do a lot to change her-------she has a naturalness that many Americans appreciate.

The job with Fox will be excellent training for Palin as she hones her communication skills whether in the media or for running for office.

You have nailed it! Exactly! For some reason, some of the posters on this thread have fallen into the Yale-Harvard elitist spin about how you must speak to hold a national office.

Palin is all about common sense. She speaks from the heart.

If we can tolerate "push one for english", we should be able to withstand an Alaskan's jargon.

This reminds me of a Thomas Sowell commentary about the economics of medical care. He quoted a Chief Medical Officer of a British hospital describing an issue regarding dangerous dirtiness in the hospitals as a "paucity of hand hygiene agents".

Sarah Palin would have said, "we need more soap and water".

I seem to remember one other governor that honed his message in the media before running for President. That worked out very well, in my opinion.
