I don't read any of the political threads on SI. What makes SI great is discussion about the market and good trading/investing opportunities. I signed up in June 1997 for dialogue in regard to trading/investing. I got better things to do than to bicker with right wingers/left wingers/libertarians/socialists. Life is short. I don't know why it is so difficult for some to just post their market view or trade (with justification) and move on without antagonizing others. Those who insult and disrespect others should be banned.
