Mr Robin Forshaw reports
The company is pleased to provide a report on exploration activity, results and outlook for the San Jose de Gracia gold project, Sinaloa State, Mexico.
Purisima Ridge
The focus of exploration activities is the Purisima ridge area, where an extensive trenching program and follow up diamond drilling are presently under way. The Purisima ridge is considered a high priority target, thought to have the capacity to host a significant bulk tonnage disseminated gold deposit, as well as high grade zones similar to the past producing Purisima mines.
Sampling from trench No. 5 provided assays averaging 4.3 grams per tonne gold over a length of 18 metres, which was the total trench length. This result is very encouraging, because it expands the known gold bearing zone which was previously reported as providing trench samples of 2.4 gm/t gold over 50 metres and 3.1 gm/t gold over 26 metres. This mineralization is hosted by stockworking and is adjacent to several high grade gold mines which produced in excess of 500,000 oz of gold prior to 1910.
To date, five diamond drill holes have been collared at the Purisima zone. Holes No. 51 and 52 were abandoned in extremely bad ground. Holes No. 53 and 54 encountered old mine workings underground, and were terminated at 390 feet and 270 feet respectively. The fifth hole is now drilling in the area of Trench No. 5.
Tres Amigos
Diamond drill hole No. 97-50 demonstrates that the Tres Amigos vein/breccia system extends at depth a further 350 metres to the southwest. The zone has been identified on surface for an additional 750 metres southwest of drill hole No. 97-50. This extension will be drill tested in the future. Assays from the most significant intercept are as follows:

Hole From To Width Au Ag
g/t g/t Zn

97-50 69m - 80m 11m 2.9 34.1 0.60%

Holes No. 97-48 and 97-49 were drilled 350 metres south of the main Tres Amigos system, and encountered zones of base metal mineralization. Hole 48 returned two 10 metre sections, which assayed 1.6% zinc and 1.1% zinc. Hole 49 encountered a 13.5 metre section of 1.0% zinc, which included a five metre section which assayed 1.1 gm/t gold.
The company's consultants have commenced a preliminary estimate of the resources delineated by the drill programs at the Tres Amigos zone during 1997.
Exploration Outlook
The company has been frustrated by the recent drill holes which encountered bad ground or old underground workings, but is excited by the prospect of establishing the bulk tonnage gold potential for the Purisima ridge area. Planning and budgeting are under way for an extensive reverse circulation drill program, envisioned as requiring a minimum of 5,000 feet. This program will require additional financing.

Steve, what do you think?
Once more hopes are up and word "estimate"showed up,Thanks God.
RC will probably do better job than diamond drill. Nice market move, I hope it is just a start since current value per share does not come even close to the potential.
Micap, Hugh, Frank and others any ideas?
Regards
Robert
