Although I think taking away a supermajority is a very good thing, the filibuster procedure is the most archaic and least productive mechanism imaginable.

There must be another way to acheive the same goal without having a bunch of windbags get up and talk about nothing just to prevent a vote on a bill.

Not that a Senator's time is worth very much, but it just seems like they OUGHT to be doing something more productive.
