You think only you know poverty Koan, sometimes you extrapolate that oddest things. It is like a winger talking. where on earth did I give any suggestion that I think I am the only poor person, or that I am even poor? You live in Alaska. You trade gold. Do you live on a street of poor people? but you did point out some things that make sense... people worry about rent, and they want their children to get an education. so fak the healthcare stuff. and the whole 'jobs' stuff too really. what is that about??? it is not any fdr thing. the people yelling are not the poor right now, Koan. work on education. work on building green industries and the jobs will come, especially with training workers who might not have any phd or need one, or even to have read Plato. and good food, not just any food. but when someone speaks of caring for the poor people, just like they do for animals??? animals can all die, as I said. that is offensive, Koan, to suggest you care for poor people just like you care for animals. that is the sort of thing a rich man in Washington would say. poor people are not some other species. and I do not 'understand' poor people like they are some foreign specie. but like many 'liberals', at times you speak of them as if they are. they need to read Plato. and etc. and I am sorry your mother spent every day discussing poverty. most people take a day or two of the week to talk of other things.

sometimes you are so smart and sometimes you make little sense. and actually, Koan... if a person is smart, they simply are smart. they might at times make no sense, but you can not be at times smart and at times stupid. you are what you are in intelligence. perhaps sometimes you simply do not grasp what I am expressing. would it be too much for you to say "I did not understand what you meant, could you clarify it?" that would not even suggest a moment of stupidty on your part and would not require to be rude to me, as you were in your statement. I realize you like to play the 'toss the insult' with the wingers, Koan, but it is not amusing then and even less so when you do it with 'friends'.
