I dunno why, but O. reminds me of Gorbachev. Too much
hope, half-baked reforms, disliked at home, loved
abroad (due to collapsing US superpower status).

We could have a few years before the Big One - the crisis,
not a crash, and likely very inflationary, but things will
keep deteriorating gradually.
