That's not a peace treaty. It merely an agreement to stop fighting.

We have an armistice between N. and S. Korea, but they are not at peace

I did not say peace. The question was, what did Lebanon do to Israel to deserve 2 invasions. Clearly the aggressor is Israel not its Arabs neighbors.

And Israel doesn't need to appease it's own electorate who are tired of aggression from its neighbors?
Again, what aggression? Annoyance maybe, not aggression from its neighbors.

And it's hard to call Lebanon a democracy when they permit an armed gang to dictate Lebanese foreign and internal policy. I call it a failed state.
Wow, you use democracy as it pleases you, don't you? The armed gang that you talk about was elected fair and square. As I recall, it was said that the Lebanese elections were an American style election, the money spent was outrageous. According to your logic, the United States of America is a failed state. We allow AIPAC and non elected entities to set and influence our foreign and domestic policies. At least in Lebanon, the bastards are elected. OMG, the democracy that you preach is not the same as the one you practice.
