There are plenty of reasons, but they are all meaningless until they are not. In particular, there are no jobs and the economy sucks. So do earnings. And the clownbuck is strong. -g- The main one - the Fed is doing "qualitative tightening" in the end of January. This means they cut some loan programs and stop accepting some garbage as a collateral. Most "programs" are to be gone. They have a zoo there -g- The printing is supposed to go away end of the Q. (I'm not entirely sure it will) Most importantly, the so-called "recovery" is on life support, and that is about to go away. They will have to see if it has legs. Some say it will, I think not. Then we get into a state in which the country is broke and the economy can't recover. That sucks and results in big market crashes. -g-
