I'm glad you agree. We already have that technology. It's called solar panels and solar thermal. Welcome to the renewable energy for America club.

I bet you didn't know that we don't actually have to travel to the sun and "cut chunks out" of it in order to partake of its abundant energy for our purposes hear on earth.
