I pray for the day that I can cast a vote for POTUS and not be voting against someone. I voted for Reagan. I liked Bush in many ways but I disliked his opponents more then I liked him. I'd love another Reagan to come along.

I like Sarah well enough and think she is at the very least as much qualified to be VP as the moron that presently holds the position. However there is only one person on the planet that could get me to vote for McCain and that was Obama. Had it been Hillary I likely would have just abstained thinking we are screwed either way.

I do however greatly admire McCain for his service and what he went through as a POW.

Palin is probably finished as an elected politician, but the media stunt of demonizing her will make it harder to do it again in the future especially to another woman. To that end, Sarah Palin has done more for women than most realize.
