To all, Today seemed a little out of character, even for before last week's selloff and inspite of the large upside gain. A fair number of good size blocks traded, mostly on the buy side. It's possible that the smart money has decided the recent consolidation is over. It's also possible that some service recommended Borland, then allowed its subscribers to buy before making the announcement public. Let's all hope the latter interpretation is correct. If it is, we could see another point quickly. One way or another, I wouldn't put too much faith in the 10 level as a support area. The market had no trouble breaking it with the selloff. I do think the 8 to 8 1/2 is a good support area, and in the absence of another big dive, the 9 1/2 area will also be a good support area. Just my 2 cents. Sam
