Try this experiment. Ask some random people you come across who spends more on it's military, us or China. I'm sure almost all will say us. Now, ask them how much more we spend, suggest 2X, 3x. NO ONE will tell you we spend seven times what China does.

People are kept ignorant of this. The facts are THERE, if you dig a bit, but publicly, the question is NEVER asked by anyone who'd make a headline.
