IMHO forget about stimulus and all that now... politically the feel is that Dems have nothing to gain by stimulating while Reps gain from it.

We're going down into deep depression now... they'll even pistol whip Bernanke into balking at buying more Assets. Check out Fannie Mae balance sheet.
