I agree. Obama's strategic mistake was to not have fast tracked campaign finance reform, followed by health-care and education reforms while the love fest was going on and he could do no wrong.

His tactical mistakes were that (a) he did not cater as much to main street as Wall Street in his aid packages and (b) he is too non-partisan. While in theory both were "right" things to do, they weakened his position and will haunt him for the rest of his term(s).

Slarty, it's going to get worse. Did you see the Supreme Court decision today allowing unbridled corporate spending on political issues. It is now guaranteed the USA is no longer a government by the people but by the corporations, money talks here in the USA>
