How about we cancel the absolute waste of a "stimulus" bill, and take that money and rebuild Haiti? I'd rather do that than flush it down the shitter.

I meant from a financial POV; not terrorism.

Its smaller in size and population, and at least after a period of aftershocks, continued destruction should be lees, but your right that its going to take a long time and a lot of money, to bring Haiti back to where it was (even though "where it was" wasn't exactly great).

I think we will be stuck with a lot of the bill for the short term disaster relief. Not so sure about the long term, but I'm we will wind up paying some of it.
