Hawk, you are blathering again. Here's the point of the original message: Israel is violating international law by occupying lands of the Palestinians. The poster tried to excuse the Israelis by saying that from antiquity, the spoils of war goes to the winner. In that case, he was trying to justify Israel winning the 1967 war and keeping Arab lands. I explained that after WWII, the world community set up a world order whereby lands would not be acquired by conquest. The world community, including the USA, European Union and every country of the world considers Israel's occupation and retention of Arab lands as ILLEGAL. The only country that maintains the colonist views of conquest is Israel since they want to justify their illegal possession of lands.
