Intellectual work is the hardest and by far the most productive kind of work. Human civilization is entirely the product of intellectual work. The Jews of medieval Europe were forced into almost exclusively intellectual work, not because they wanted it, but because the Christian majority forced them into it, because the Christians thought that intellectual work was inferior, whereas manual labor, like farming and iron smithing and fighting was superior.

You must admit that the major part of your compensation comes from your ability to plan, coordinate and communicate rather than climb poles, dig ditches and solder wires.
