Yes I knew that rule. When I first changed it I checked for availability and it told me it was acceptable. Now it tells me it is taken. Can it just be changed back to the original one?

Cheeky, go back and read Suvivor's post -- she clearly stated she only wants to make a spelling correction to her name -- not change her name. As she said, she wants to change the spelling of her name from Suvivor to Survivor. Isn't there someone on the SI staff who can make this simple one-letter change?

Suvivor: Hope this helps. I've followed your name problem from the GITs thread and have gotten as frustrated as you must be. There surely isn't an SI rule requiring a year to correct a one-letter spelling mistake ... :)
