Barry, I've just recently been paying attention to the bid and ask size. It can do as you say, but sometimes they will act like they want the stock by "stacking the bid" as I call it, and then they will change it very quickly. I think it helps to track it, but they can screw with that just as easily as they mess with the price. I think they know people watch the bid ask size to see which way the next tick will be and I think they try to "sucker" us in at times.

Barry...I personally beleive that the quote services might just as well post the relative humidity rather than the bid/ask. It would make about as much sense!:-)
