Just like loaning 33 billion to deadbeat Indonesia makes them all of a sudden solvent.

When I owned a business and a customer didn't pay, he always said 'Don't worry, I will pay interest'. Yeah right ... I must have my stupid shirt on again!

Steve it is very bullish because all the other banks do not want to admit to the same mistakes, and therefore they run up the US stock market with the hope that SE Asia will follow <ggg>

and more interesting,

you and me and many others, pay for it by paying exagerated banking fees, ATM fees etc. and credit card interest!!
