Stossel is a Nazi.

So "libertarian" = "fascist, authoritarian, semi-totalitarian dictatorship". You have a bizarre way of picking your insults. You probably should stick to the generic ones, which even if they are wrong aren't so laughable.

up until 2008, transit ridership was at the highest level in the city's history

Irrelevant to the main point. Certainly higher ridership would almost always, all else being equal, move the system towards cost effectiveness, but high ridership, even record ridership, does not equal "cost effective".

Its also not relevant to the secondary point about share of trips by transit, your data is about rail trips which where up before the recession, but Stossel's point is that the money for rail took money away from other transit alternatives and total trips on mass transit went down even as rail trips where reaching record levels.

Stossel is a Nazi.

Wrong, he is not nearly as liberal as you or your National Socialists. He is a moderate.

Why do you think Stossel is that socialistic?
