You are part of the cover up. No.. that cover-up happened in 1967 and was perpetrated by both US and Israeli leaders. But more importantly, the cover-up on the part of the US government was THEIR FAILURE TO PROTECT THE USS LIBERTY when they sent it in "harm's way" in the first place. Dayan was a fool to order that attack (presuming it was Dayan). But there's some evidence that suggests that his preparations to attack the Golan were being undertaken without knowledge of the Israeli government. If so, he would have wanted to prevent any leak about those plans and that made it imperative for Dayan to neutralize the USS Liberty. But that is ONE MAN making the decision, not an entire government, nor an entire people. If you wanted to adopt that kind of attitude, I can start rattling off all the Americans that have been killed by Palestinians and blame it on the entire Palestinian population. Hawk
