Why they thought it necessary, I don't have a clue, but they did. Come to find out, they were wrong. So how does that destroy my argument? The point is, as should have been clear, ad revenue is down across the industry. Everyone is hurting, even ClearChannel who carries some of the shows with the largest audiences.
