Olberman made a great analogy last night. In some sports They limit the amount of money each team can have because if one team can spend 10 times as much on players as another it will buy the best players. And win most fo the games. Same with horse racing.

It is a matter of amounts. soros will give to liberal campaigns, but his contributions will be dwarfed by the total corporate money. The total amount of corporate money that will be used to BUY congresspeople will dwarf individual contributions.

I do not think you can understand something this complex (or jsut don't giv a shit), but let me try and explain.

If one candidate has 300 million dollars and the other has 5 million dollars, the one with 300 million is going to win most of the time. Say anything enough (even blatant lies) and people will beleive it.

Can you understand that? Corporations are the only entity that can generate that kind of money all the time. so they will quickly buy so many congresspeople beholden to them and cause so much fear among any congressperson who goes against them our democracy will quickly devolve into a fascist country (fascist means corporations running a country).

Can you understand that? Or do you just not care about our freedom?
