>> C'mon...libs have careers

What, you think non-liberals don't have careers? While it is true that wise, elderly people tend to be conservatives, that certainly isn't the extent of the audience for Limbaugh.

As a centrist I have no dog in this hunt. The truth, of course, is that liberals are largely uninformed and disinterested, and those who are interested tend to be ignorant.

...they don't sit home or in a truck listening to AM radio. The fact is that liberals are more refined, better educated and better informed and that's the reason liberal radio won't easily work.

Well, they're "elitist" and "arrogant". I guess some would call that "refined".

I think there is a lot of confusion on the education issue. It is true many American universities are packed with liberal professors. It is not true, however, that liberals are "better educated". Those who can do, do -- those who can't do, teach. Harvard is a great place for liberal professors. But the people who are able to take their education and accomplish something with it are mostly not liberals.

I don't find liberals running businesses, creating jobs, innovating. And one reason is that when you start to do these things you immediately realize that government is your worst enemy and that's the end of your liberalism. That's what happened with me, that's what happened with every business owner I know.

Accomplishment is inconsistent with the precepts of liberalism, which promote instead, mediocrity.

So far it has tried to offer its own version of the cynical bourgeois low class nature of right wing radio and that simply won't carry the attention of liberals for very long.

I don't know how the bourgeoisie fit into it, but low class? I'll agree that is an apt characterization of AAR and other leftwinger radio, e.g., Franken, Maddow, Schultz, etc. Total snark. And you could argue there is some of that, to a lesser extent though -- in Hannity's show.

But Limbaugh's show is an absolute class operation, and frankly, I would say most of the other right wing talkers are, too.

Basically, you're FOS. Nothing new there.
