I wasn't aware that CalAsic was a public company when it was bought by JMAR. I assumed that because of its capitalization it was owned by on a few people. I have only followed the stock for the past few weeks so I don't know a lot of the history.

As was pointed out earlier, the 50,000 block was absorbed with only a minor down tick and the MM's immediately brought the bid back up to the previous levels. I unloaded a block of 5,000 shares a few weeks ago in a much more liquid company and at much higher price levels and the MM's dropped the bid by 3/8 just to absorb these shares. So the price drop in JMAR was certainly small.

As for the news release, I think the timing is excellent. With all of the financial analysts and media in San Diego they will most certain see this news and be more compelled to check out JMAR. I know that I have personally made certain organizations that will be in attendance, know about JMAR. It might not have done any good but at least they know the name.
