We weren't talking about him. If we had been I could have said he made one also. The girl has more at risk, so imo it behooves her to be more careful, but the "mistake" is by both parties- they are both equally at fault (mistake wise), unless the situation is coercive.

I'm very conscious of gender equity- but since I wasn't being unfair to her on a gender basis, I don't need to reconsider my position.

And maybe he was a p-whipped male. Who knows? Why assume he is macho? That is discrimination. Lots of males are betas, or less, and they still manage to get girls pregnant. And the whole REASON for the post was that Palin's daughter was called a very rude name. Had the young man been called a name I would have stepped in for him too. But he wasn't. Only the girl was called a name- you can see for yourself. Follow the conversation back and it will be quite clear why I was talkning about the girl. There was no comment about man-sluts.
