Thank You KLP,
I will try to post more, . There is not that much going
on over here. Since the Sweedes reduced their taxes - We Danes now have the highest taxes in the world.
We have free healthcare.
My father in law had lung cancer and he got the normal treatment. First he went to his own doctor. Then the doctor sent him to the special cancer hospital. All patients in Denmark had a government granted guarantee that You would get treatment within three months. Before the three month guarantee You really could wait a looong time. So Three months later he was called in to schedule his treatment. Then Three months Later he was called in for preliminary tests. Then another three months later they started the chemo theraphy. Then three more months later (2004) he died from a merciful heart attack while fighting the cancer that now was everywhere. I do not know if it would have made the slightest difference, but I do remember that he was very very sad over the treatment he got. Or rather - did not get.
They have since changed the system so the period You can wait for treatment has been reduced (only in cancer cases)from three months to one month. That would have reduced his real waiting period to get treated from nine months to three months I guess.

Retired danish workers have probably died in this way by the thousands.
They do not realise how it is, until they are sick and denied care by waiting and waiting for it.
