Hmmm, not so fast there Hawk. Now there's a thought. Japan got compulsory conversion and it worked really well. Germany got compulsory conversion too and they have been fine. How about a reconstituted NUN, with a sort of secular-lite unitary deity which is not too stringent on the details of the local liturgy and incantations? The Freemasons have a unitary deity like that, leaving it up to individuals to have their own brand details. They get the standard NUN constitution to elect their low government to organize sewerage, water, roads and what not. The NUN looks after their borders. They can have representatives in the NUN senate to run the show, looking after the global commons as needs be. Moslems could still have Mecca but without the Jihad part, like Japan still has the emperor but without the Greater East Asian Co Prosperity Sphere. Mqurice
