No, we elect people to congress so that they can represent us. They are ethically obligated to represent our views and what we believe would be right for the country. Our vote is a contract in which we lend them our trust to do exactly that. The system is not working. We are electing people to office who receive monetary incentives to cast their vote one way or another, people who are not leading anyone and are representing only the money paying for their vote.

I found this in one of your posts earlier today...
