California and New York aren't bankrupt, they just haven't raised their taxes high enough yet. The people aren't paying their "fair" share yet.

You do not have a clue. I grew up in California and went to college there. It was proposition 13 pure and simple. And the way they set it up was so the legilature could not undo it.

And now they are going under bcause they cannot adjust to reality as they created their own trap i.e. it takes a huge bi partison vote in the California legislature to overturn Prop 13 and that will never happen!
