Odd that we didn't use them to justify war, isn't it? That's your hint as to their authenticity.

Yeah.. that what we all thought.

All of those documents we recovered and translated were only classified "Confidential" and there was quite a push to get them declassified.

But I personally witnessed a degree of "politics" involved in how intel was distributed. Believe it or not, there is a very liberal bent to many of the analysts (being intellectuals) and many of them really didn't like Bush's policies.
