I think Bob Herbert hit the nail right on the head regarding Obama's perception problems. Obama is all over the map. I like some of his policy changes a lot, but in too many areas he is not governing the way he campaigned. He is way too quick to take the easy way out and please the rich and powerful entrenched interests in DC. This new domestic spending freeze proposal while letting the "defense" spending to continue its freewheeling ways is a good example. It is so disheartening.
