Crash

BVSI management has stuck to the story that came out in Q1 that it was to get closer to the telecom action.

I have never seen or heard any other reason, and I still do not see how it makes any sense, unless they have a stratgeic alliance about to be built that would require it, but what???

Crash - another version of the story, in addition to Charles's reply, is a double digit cost saving by facility consolidation. Also, according to the CEO, during the cc the Q prior to the last one, he claimed that now the entire mgt team is physically located in one area and thus will facilitate faster decision process.

With regard to the 1st pt, Florida does seem to have a pro-business environment. I'd speculate that the genesis of BVSI was somewhat tied to Hillside High (aka Wichita State U) <VBG>. With NCR also in the area, probably it is tough to compete for talents. Having said that, one mustn't discount the human resource strength of the local area, like Stanford U for Silicon Valley and MIT for Route 128 (of Boston.)

My own theory <g> is that the CEO was up in Canada (CanTel) for too long. Personally, I'd like to move to Florida also, especially when Winter is fast approaching
