Hawk, yeah, you saw documents that Bush and Cheney didn't see

Actually, that's quite likely.

You'd be amazed at the number of "gatekeepers" who filter what makes it up to the MFWICs.

But they saw a lot more that I didn't see, given the sensitivity of their sources (like the Foreign Minister of Iraq who was on both the French and US payroll as a spy).

Pete Hoekstra was really pushing for all those Saddam-era documents to be released to the internet in order to make use of it's power to get them translated more quickly.

democraticunderground.com

But then they found some documents that dealt with nuclear weapons schematics, the public translation program was immediately shut down:

en.wikipedia.org

These need to be declassified and released. If there are nuclear weapons related information, it's likely nothing that isn't already available via various sources.

Btw GR.. the same kind of analytical "bias" that YOU DISPLAY in ignoring the genocidal rantings of global Jihadists within Hamas isn't much different than what transpired with that information that Saddam had ordered his intelligence service to cooperate with Al-Qaida and other "Arab groups".

I knew quite a few analysts who couldn't come to grips with a supposedly secular Ba'thist regime enlisting the cooperation of religious militants to strike out at the US.

That's why we don't see much news coverage of those Hamas broadcasts, as translated by MEMRI.
