I believe, Muslims second holiest mosque is the Aksa, which happen to be in Jerusalem.

Yet, the Mosque was built AFTER the death of Muhammad..

Muhammad never mentioned Jerusalem as a "holy city" of Islam in his teachings.

I wonder why that is, given that he formed his religion hundreds of years after Christianity and Jews equally recognized the city as the center of their respective faiths?
