Of course Haiti has no meaningful building codes. People don't have any money. Agriculture (28%) Remitances (17%) and foreign aid (12%) of GDP together form 57% of the economy.

It is tailor made for a kleptocracy. It is a kleptocracy.

Haitians achieve outside their country, so we know it is not the people. When Clinton helped Baby Doc he kicked the country backwards.

Perhaps a semi-permanent occupation to supervise rebuilding can restore the rule of law and thus the economy.

I don't care what LWEs are saying. They always scream. I care about the tragedy that was made worse by the slow response from our government.
