Doug, agree with your views on the oil drillers/services sector and am familiar with many of your personal picks. I also like NE.

Today the sector made new highs across the broad because Morgan Stanley raised estimates. MS seems to concur with your statement: "Also, we should see earnings continue through another quarter. But, an expected turn should occur after the first of the year. I will be glad to continue to monitor rig count."

Please do monitor and post the rig status. The market is forward looking and may anticipate the turn.

Besides the slowdown in the sector, the industry will be confronted with the yr2k problem. Does the industry know the impact and has it developed solutions or contingency plans?
