Kate, I appreciate these detailed posts you send me. My problem is that it's simply not possible for me to treat them fairly today. I'm in a rather large dustup with city hall, gathering a group together to draft a statement, and head to this thread while I'm waiting for e-mail replies to drafts. So pardon me my somewhat short replies. This should be finished by tomorrow sometime. And then we'll wait for the next council meeting at which the mayor will throw more than a few brickbats our way. It's her style. Petty, that is.
