Thanks for that letter. I never thought that after the first year in office Obama would be advocating a freeze on domestic spending for the next three years of his first term. This move has caught be totally by surprise, and really makes me question my support for him. If I didn't support Reagan's advocacy for starving government and domestic spending, why should I support Obama's proposal to do the same thing? That means funding for important agencies that working people rely on for better living conditions like environmental and labor will not keep up with inflation, and the oversight by government in these areas will diminish. This while the military has a blank check. This is not what I voted for when I pulled the lever for Obama. Mark me down as another disillusioned liberal. This is what we pay taxes for?
