No, it's not even that. Here is the real reason: Gold down, market up. The more this goes on, the more irritable this thread becomes. If gold finally crashes and the market soars, the thread will go dead. -g- The machines known under the name of PPT here are back. High frequency trading is 2/3 of all volume (according to NYSE this time). There are other machines, ones that do derivatives. They are probably the other third. This results in synthetic markets.
