As someone put it the other day, the Dems had a 60-vote majority in the Senate for 7 months and couldn't pass healthcare because they couldn't master their own internal divisions and individuals running off in their own directions with no regard for what they would accomplish in terms of governance.

Whether they did what they did for good or bad reasons, they are part of the same crazed "system", an operation that has become dedicated to NOT getting things done. And the more Washington doesn't seem to care, the more voters will toss out the incumbents regardless of party.

This should have been the pivotal moment for change. Thanks to the Dems on Capitol Hill, they are reverting to business as usual as practiced for the last 20 years.
