(Amex: TXM) today reported that net income for the year ended September 27,
1997, rose 57 percent to $14,674,000 on revenues of $229,294,000, compared
with net income of $9,344,000 on revenues of $150,195,000 for 1996. Earnings
per share rose 28 percent in 1997 to $.51, compared with $.40 in 1996.
