We've been watching the issue of wage/cost arbitrage and globalization for a while; see the following, and your response:

Without diving into the globalization/arbitrage debate, it seems clear that the phenomenon is self-limiting; put another way, the construct is unsustainable.

Without elaborating, I suggest the current mythology about "free" is also unsustainable. There's a logical/semantic trap where "loss leader" is being confused with "free".

Until input and distribution costs (including energy) are zero, there's no such thing as "free".
